Christ is the truth, the way, and the life. God’s sheep hear God’s voice. As long as you read the words of Almighty God, you will see God has appeared.

YOU HAVE GOT MAIL: MASSIMO INTROVIGNE WRITES TO KOREAN CHRISTIAN ANTICULT MEDIA

Korean Christian Anticult

Three Korean Christian media, CBS, CTS, and Kukmin Ilbo, reported on the false demonstrations against The Church of Almighty God in Korea. In a frenzy to attack “cults” with whose theology they disagree, they took the side of the persecutors and the Chinese Communist Party against harmless refugees. We publish the letter our editor-in-chief wrote to them.
Dear Sirs:
I am Managing Director of CESNUR, the Center for Studies on New Religions, the largest network of scholars studying new religious movements in the world. I am also editor-in-chief of a daily magazine about religious persecution and human rights in China called Bitter Winter. That I am an expert of new religious movements operating in China has been recognized by the Chinese authorities themselves, which have invited me to China repeatedly to lecture on Chinese new religious groups, including The Church of Almighty God (see for example https://kknews.cc/society/rrr2m8o.html).

Again fed up with the surveillance, the old couple decides to pack their bags and move again …

Christian Variety Show "A Love No Net Can Catch" | Hold Onto Love for God in Persecution (Crosstalk)

The crosstalk A Love No Net Can Catch shares the experience of a Christian who is subjected to all sorts of monitoring and pursuit by the CCP government; she cannot return home, instead constantly on the run. The CCP has spent vast amounts of money to build its "Skynet Project" to suppress Christians and crack down on dissidents, establishing the world's largest video surveillance network to control China so tightly that even a needle, a drop of water cannot get through. Under the government's high-intensity surveillance Christians' freedoms are restricted at every turn and they face the constant danger of being arrested and imprisoned. But under God's guidance, Christians from The Church of Almighty God have not lost their faith in God and have become firmer in their faith through hardships. The CCP government may be able to catch their bodies in their net, but they will never get their hearts that aspire to the light and seek to love God.

The Hypocritical CCP Instigates Farcical Demonstration in South Korea

Since coming to power, the CCP has never stopped persecuting religious belief. Especially since Xi Jinping has taken office, religious persecution, and in particular, the suppression of Christianity, has escalated to new heights today. The unscrupulous suppression, arrests, and persecution have not only been carried out against house church Christians. Even officially-run Three-Self churches and crosses have been demolished in large numbers. Christians have been arrested, sentenced, and jailed in large numbers, and some have even been beaten to death. Countless Christians have had to flee their homes to avoid the CCP’s arrest, unable to return, and many Christians have been persecuted so severely that they have no choice but to flee to democratic nations to seek asylum. Yet the evil CCP is hardly content to allow these Christians to escape. The CCP not only uses diplomatic and economic means to put pressure on these democratic nations, it also trains and embeds large numbers of special agents to work in these countries and monitor Christians, with the goal of extraditing these escaped Christians to China by every possible way. In September of 2018, for example, an incident occurred in South Korea targeted at threatening these Christian refugees. A Korean woman led over ten family members of escaped Chinese Christians living in Korea, in a demonstration, in which she claimed that the Christian asylum seekers of The Church of Almighty God (CAG) in South Korea were “false refugees,” and demanded that the Korean government repatriate them to China. The demonstration proved immediately controversial. But, the demonstration poses a question: Why would a South Korean citizen, living long-term in South Korea, lead more than ten relatives of Christians, of Chinese nationality, in such a demonstration? She was entirely unfamiliar with these Christians’ family members, and didn’t know the background of the CCP’s persecution of Christians, so why would she organize the relatives of these Chinese Christians to conduct such a demonstration in South Korea? Why did she claim that these CAG Christians fled to Korea were false refugees and demand that the South Korean government repatriate them? It truly is a puzzling situation. What hidden factors were behind this demonstration? On today’s program, our guests are two Christians from The Church of Almighty God whose Chinese family members took part in the demonstration. Today’s topic will be a discussion of the events surrounding the demonstration.

Movie Clip "Deadly Ignorance" (1) - Whose Words Should Be Heeded When Investigating the True Way

Christian Film "Deadly Ignorance" (1) - Whose Words Should Be Heeded When Investigating the True Way

Many genuine believers in the Lord who long for the appearance of God have read Almighty God's words, all acknowledge that they are the truth, that they are God's voice, and are willing to seek and investigate the true way. However, some of them have doubts about God's work and want to give up their investigation of the true way because of the May 28 Zhaoyuan, Shandong case, and because they have believed the lies spread by the Chinese Communist Party atheist government and the pastors and elders of the religious world. What is the real issue here? Is the Shandong Zhaoyuan case linked to Almighty God's appearance and work? Whose words should Christians really heed when seeking and investigating the true way?

Christian Video 2018 | "Surveillance" (Crosstalk) | The CCP Uses High Tech to Violate Human Rights

Since the CCP took power, it has always attacked dissidents and persecuted religious faith. To permanently control China's people, the CCP has spent massive sums to build many kinds of national surveillance networks, and monitoring of Christians is especially intense. The multiple layers of phone monitoring, internet monitoring, and surveillance cameras have allowed the CCP to wildly arrest countless Christians, many more have been forced to leave home and wander, many others are in jail, and some have even been crippled or killed! The group crosstalk Surveillance exposes the hypocrisy of China's "religious freedom" and "freedom of speech," and shows you the sinful proof of how China uses high-tech means to attack righteousness and persecute religious faith.

Christian Skit "Starving for Fear of Choking"

In the matter of welcoming the Lord's coming, there are some in the religious world who close their door and wait alone for fear of being deceived by false Christs. They starve themselves for fear of choking, and cling to the words, "Then if any man shall say to you, See, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; so that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect" (Mat 24:23-24). They think anyone who preaches God's gospel of the last days or testifies the Lord's return is false, and utterly refuse to hear, see, or come into contact with them, but they ignore how to welcome the Lord's coming. The protagonist of this skit is one such person …
This humorous skit warns us that if we misinterpret the Scriptures, understand the Lord's words incorrectly, and stubbornly abide by mistaken views, we will inevitably lose our chance to be raptured, and be forsaken by the Lord. Christians need to think about how to welcome the Lord's return, which means focusing on seeking and investigating, listening for God's voice, and not starving themselves for fear of choking.

Movie Review | Red Re education at Home—Red Education Coming to Its End

Greetings, everyone! Welcome to this edition of Movie Reviews. I’d like to recommend this wonderful movie of Christian Church, Red Re-education at Home, done in a true-to-life style. Just the one word “Red” calls to mind the Communist Party’s rule. It tells the story of a typical family of Communist Party members in China. Zheng Weiguo, the father, is the minister of a municipal United Front Work Department, who is responsible for suppressing and striking against religious beliefs, but the son and daughter, Zheng Yi and Zheng Rui, are actually devout Christians. The scene of a family spiritual battle unfolds. What’s really amazing about this film is that it hones in on one particular point to illustrate the bigger picture, distilling the situation of the difficulties of Christians’ existence and faith under the regime of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) down to one family of a Communist Party official. So, how does a red family under China’s autocracy educate their children? And how the Christians rely on God to counteract the CCP’s lies and fallacies, and expose its evil essence so that they can stand witness for God? Red Re-education at Home will reveal the answers to these questions, one by one.

An Analysis of Rejections of Chinese Christians’ Asylum Applications—Professor Raffaella Di Marzio

In recent years, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has continued to escalate its persecution of Protestant and Catholic home churches, and listed The Church of Almighty God as a particular target for its oppression, carrying out widespread arrests and persecution. Many Christians have had no choice but to leave their homes behind and become itinerant, and some have even been forced to flee to democratic countries overseas to seek political asylum. Consequently, the outside world has gradually come to know the truth of the persecution they’ve suffered, causing great concern on the part of some international human rights experts, religious scholars, and professors; they have also made appeals on behalf of these Christians who have fled. However, the governments of some democratic countries have disregarded the truth of the CCP government’s persecution of Christians as well as international society’s condemnation of the CCP, rejecting Christians’ asylum applications with a variety of reasons. This has resulted in a very low acceptance rate of Chinese Christian asylum seekers in Europe. Some have received removal orders and some have even been sent back to China. Professor Raffaella Di Marzio, who is in charge of the Center for Studies on Freedom of Religion, Belief and Conscience in Italy, has researched and analyzed the issue of the rejection of persecuted Christians’ political asylum applications by some democratic governments.

HK Media Attack The Church of Almighty God, Peril to Religious Freedom in HK - Massimo Introvigne

On November 20–21, 2017, in just two days, seventeen reports attacking The Church of Almighty God (CAG) were published intensively on Ta Kung Pao and Wen Wei Po, the mouthpiece media of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in Hong Kong (HK), citing the rumors and fallacies consistently fabricated by the CCP to discredit and condemn the CAG. What signal can we get from the CCP’s sudden attack and condemnation against the CAG in HK? What will the situation of religion be like in HK? Prof. Massimo Introvigne, an Italian sociologist, the founder and managing director of the Center for Studies on New Religions (CESNUR), makes comment on this.

ISHR Annual Meeting Spotlights Persecution of Religious Belief in China

In Recent years, the situation of the religious freedom in China has been worsening. More and more Christians have been forced to flee to other countries to seek political asylum because of being unable to bear the CCP government’s persecution. As the true facts of their persecution by the CCP are gradually being known by the world, some international human rights organizations start to give them attention and appeal for their status. From April 6 to 7, 2018, an annual meeting of the International Society for Human Rights (ISHR) was held at Gustav-Stresemann-Institut in Bonn, Germany. The theme of this annual meeting was “Focusing on the humanitarian situation and religious freedom in the Middle East.” Some human rights activists, religious figures and representatives of persecuted Christians were invited to participate in this meeting. During the meeting, some speakers discussed the situation of the religious persecution in China. The Church of Almighty God (CAG) Christians, as invited guests, also gave speeches, and introduced the main measures the CCP has applied to cruelly suppress and persecute the CAG, which aroused the attention of some participants.
