I
Believing in God, gaining truth and life
cannot be so easy.
To speak hollow words
and not practice the truth,
it's all in vain.
Not changing disposition
with many years' work is hypocrisy.
God looks through
to the inner heart of man,
He does not allow deception.
God tests man to see
if they possess the truth.
No matter the suffering,
without truth it's nothing.
His judgment saves me,
awakens my heart.
I'll seek and live out the truth
to please God.
II
Through God's judgment,
I see my ugliness.
I flaunt myself with doctrine,
decorate myself with words
to deceive others and myself.
I follow the Pharisees,
yet claim to be loyal.
Without the reality of God's words,
I have no likeness of man.
Clinging to religious tradition
is not worshiping God.
If I cannot accept His judgment,
my belief will be empty.
God tests man to see
if they possess the truth.

awakens my heart.

to please God.
III
Seeing through my nature
is hard to do,
it must go through trials
and revelations.
The corruption of mankind
runs so deep,
they cannot be made clean
without judgment.
God's judgment allows me to see
the truth of man's corruption.
God's righteous disposition
is revealed within His judgment.
It is meaningful for God
to chastise and judge to save man.
Only through judgment
and gaining the truth
can man live a true human life.
