Since it came to power in mainland China in 1949, the Chinese Communist
Party has been relentless in its persecution of religious faith. It has
frantically arrested and murdered Christians, expelled and abused
missionaries operating in China, confiscated and destroyed countless
copies of the Bible, sealed up and demolished church buildings, and
vainly attempted to eradicate all house churches.
This documentary is a recounting of the true experience of persecution
at the hands of the Chinese Communist Party suffered by Chen Wenzhong, a
Chinese Christian. Chen Wenzhong was successful in his career and had a
beautiful and happy family, but because he believed in God and
performed his duty, he became wanted by the CCP. He was forced to leave
home and was on the run for over ten years. In order to learn of his
whereabouts, the CCP police constantly monitored, threatened, and
intimidated his family, and wouldn't even spare his young son, Xiaoyu.
In the end, they forced Xiaoyu onto the path of no return.
Two thousand years ago, the Lord Jesus prophesied, "And at midnight
there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom comes; go you out to meet
him" (Matthew 25:6). "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man
hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup
with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20).
For the last two thousand years, believers in the Lord have been
watchful and awaiting the Lord's knock on the door, so how will He knock
on mankind's door when He returns? In the last days, some people have
testified that the Lord Jesus has returned—Almighty God incarnate—and
that He is doing the work of judgment in the last days. This news has
rocked the entire religious world.
Yang Aiguang, the protagonist of the film, has believed in the Lord for
decades and has always been enthusiastically engaged in work and
preaching, waiting to welcome the Lord's return. One day, two people
come and knock on the door, tell Yang Aiguang and her husband that the
Lord Jesus has returned, and share the words of Almighty God with them.
They are deeply moved by Almighty God's words, but because Yang Aiguang
has been subjected to the fallacies, deception, and strictures of the
pastors and elders, she throws the witnesses of The Church of Almighty God out of the house. After that, the witnesses knock on their door on
many occasions and read the words of Almighty God to Yang Aiguang,
bearing witness to God's work in the last days. During this time, the
pastor disrupts and hinders Yang Aiguang time after time, and she
continues to waver. However, through hearing the words of Almighty God,
Yang Aiguang comes to understand the truth and gains discernment
regarding the rumors and fallacies propagated by the pastors and elders.
She finally understands how the Lord knocks on people's doors during
His return in the last days, and how we should welcome Him. When the fog
clears, Yang Aiguang finally hears the voice of God and acknowledges
that Almighty God really is the return of the Lord Jesus!
From the time he was little, Novo believed in the Lord Jesus, just like
his mother. Even though he frequently read the Bible, prayed, and
attended sermons, he often couldn't help but follow the evil trends of
the world, long for the enjoyments of the flesh, and lie and cheat…. He
resolved many times to cast off that life of cycling through sinning and
confessing, confessing and sinning. However, he always failed. Later on
when Novo was working in Taiwan he heard the gospel of the kingdom, and
by reading the words of Almighty God he came to the conclusion that
Almighty God is the return of the Lord Jesus, and that His work of

problem of mankind's sinful nature. So, he accepted the work of Almighty
God in the last days with a heart full of joy. Two years after that,
Novo returned to the Philippines and began fulfilling his duty in the Church of Almighty God. He found his goal and direction in life, and
from then on his wandering heart finally came home.
The Testimony of a Christian
Her name is Xiao Li. She has believed in God for more than a decade. In
the winter of 2012, she was arrested by the Chinese Communist police at a
congregation. During interrogation, the police repeatedly coaxed,
threatened, battered and tortured her in their attempts to seduce her to
betray God by disclosing the whereabouts of the leaders and money of
the church. Particularly in one frozen night when the temperature was
twenty degrees below zero, she was forcibly stripped naked, drenched
with icy water, electrically shocked on her genital, and force-fed
mustard water by the police…. She had suffered brutal torture and
unimaginable humiliation. During the interrogation, she felt hurt and
humiliated. She desperately prayed to God time after time. The word of
God gave her timely enlightenment and guidance. With the faith and
strength she received from God's word, she overcame the savage torture
and demonic ravage and gave wonderfully resounding witness. Like a
winter plum blossom, she exhibited resilient vitality by proudly
blooming amid severe adversity, emanating delightful redolence …
Han Lu is a leader of the Church of Almighty Godin the Chinese mainland. She has believed in God for over a decade and has experienced the work of Almighty God in the last days.
